Current full time vacancy is for Physical Therapy focusing Outpatient Rehab/Neuro working days and weekend rotation.
-Provide physical rehabilitation services by treating disabilities, injuries, and diseases through various treatment techniques while rotating through various areas of the Medical Center;
-Perform evaluations, establish and perform treatment plans, assess response to treatment, provide patient education, participate in discharge planning including procuring equipment;
-Modify treatments as necessary;
-Documentation;
-Supervise physical therapy students; serves as a clinical resource for other staff;
-Functions as a clinical instructor to PT's and PTA's, provides orientation to staff;
-Counsel patients and families on care and treatments;
-Confer with health care and social service personnel in coordinating patient care; participate on patient care teams;
-Attend staff meetings and participate in in-service training sessions;
-Perform other related duties.
-Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
-Must possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Minnesota State Physical Therapy Board.
Prefered:
-Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy PLUS a minimum of 3 years of experience at a similar facility or 2 years of experience plus 1 year at HCMC.
-Must possess a valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Minnesota State Physical Therapy Board.
