The Physician Assistant performs the following general emergency care tasks:
1. Provide evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education to patients and their families within Urgent Care.
2. Work collaboratively, in consultation with, and/or refer to, medical staff as indicated by patient health status and medical condition.
3. Obtain patient and family health history and perform physical examination appropriate to patient age and history.
4. Write routine orders for appropriate lab and radiological studies.
5. Order, prescribe, administer and dispense therapeutic devices or legend drugs.
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Current MN license to practice as a PA.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Two (2) years practice experience preferred.
