1. Develop, implement and maintain a system of diagnostic, treatment, and consultative psychological services.
2. Participate in high level planning and problem-solving activities.
3. Establish and maintain standards and ethics of professionals practice.
4. Select, hire, supervise, and evaluate mental health professionals.
5. Participate in peer review of mental health professionals practices.
6. Provide diagnostic, psychotherapeutic, and/or consultative services to/about mentally ill clients.
7. Train and/or oversee the training program for pre and post doctoral level psychology trainees
and/or fellows.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare and social service professionals in multidisciplinary reviews of diagnostic work, treatment planning, and utilization of services and program resources.
9. Evaluate the impact of psychological services upon service recipients.
10. Speak to community groups, schools, and/or healthcare and social service professionals about clinic services
11. Participate in research projects and/or write research grants.
--Doctoral degree in psychology obtained from an APA approved program with appropriate clinical training,
-A minimum of two years of post-doctoral experience as a clinical psychologist in a
medical or mental health setting appropriate to the area of specialization is
required with at least one year of supervisory/management experience.
-Must be a Licensed Psychologist.
Professional experience in an academic medical setting strongly preferred.
