Develop course content and materials for Revenue Cycle related Access training programs for new employee orientation, ongoing refreshing and EPIC upgrade training, and special projects as determined by organizational initiatives.
Ensure course objectives and content meet organizational objectives, internal audit, accreditation, regulatory requirements, and financial indicators.
Deliver classroom facilitated training for administrative and clinical staff and develop and provide ongoing assessments to make sure staff maintain a high level of proficiency in EPIC registration, scheduling and insurance theory.
Incorporate alternate methods for information training and assessment including online course development; train the trainer programs, and department specific training programs.
Work with cross functional Teams and provide expertise in Revenue Cycle Access training, subject matter knowledge, and identifying areas for improvement to meet ongoing improvement initiatives.
Develop and conduct competency assessments
Provide refresher training, coaching, and updates for HCMC employees as needed
Analyze the training needs of the organization to develop, modify and/or improve existing programs
Work with RCM project office and supported areas to develop training tools
Handle training logistics such as room, equipment and scheduling
Maintain the HCMC Learning Management System for all RCM related courses
Collect end user feedback and implement improvements in course content and recommended system design
Collect, analyze, and compile data for program reporting as required
Perform Other duties as assigned but only after appropriate training
Bachelors degree in Organizational Development and Learning, Healthcare Management, Business Management or related field
Three (3) years healthcare office or related experience with a training focus
Three (3) years classroom facilitation experience
OR
An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous relevant healthcare clinical and/or IT training experience
Previous experience with Epic strongly preferred
Exposure to online learning development
