0.5 FTE (5 shifts/ppd) 8 hr shifts, Day, EOW
Within the context of the Hennepin County Medical Center "Centered Around You" Patient & Family Centered Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
Protecting, promoting and optimizing health
Preventing illness and injury
Alleviating suffering through the nursing diagnosis and treatment of the human response.
Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others, and
Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care.
Required
-- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
-- Experience working with patients in acute care Med Surg within the last 3 years
-- 3-5 years experience as a professional nurse
-- Demonstrated professional leadership (i.e Charge, team leader, preceptor, committee chair, etc)
Preferred
-- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
-- Case Management certificate

License/Certifications
-- Current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
