Performs decontamination, sterilization, and distribution procedures according to Infection Control , and QA guidelines on a 24-hour basis. Provides the physician and the nurse with products safe for patient use on a routine basis or as emergency needs demand.
High school diploma or GED or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Current certification with professional organization for sterile processing is required.
