The LPN position provides each resident with routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with the residents assessment, choices and care plan. Experience in gerentological nursing is preferred. The LPN must possess excellent clinical skills, be self-directed, and have an understanding of the nursing process in order to monitor the nursing care delivered by the neighborhood staff. The LPN carries out monitoring responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; monitors, tracks, and reports performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Current licensure to practice nursing in Minnesota, CPR certification is required.
