Identify and lead quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with others on objectives, data to be collected, and tools for the implementation of quality
assessment and improvement.
Evaluate clinical quality data and identify areas for quality improvement projects.
Prioritize and manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
Define and lead development of reports and databases using a variety of tools using data from
Analyze and present quality findings to medical, nursing, and administrative audiences.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory data requirements and healthcare quality improvement
Meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
Manage HCMCs relationship with one or more external data vendors or customers.
Manage organizational operation of one or more quality/reporting tools or systems.
Validate and maintain integrity of quality data across multiple systems.
Bachelors degree in public health, healthcare administration, business,
statistics, IT or a similar field,
Experience in a healthcare setting.
OR an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills in formal and ad hoc
Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory data requirements and healthcare
quality improvement techniques.
Knowledge of data collection, management and analysis methods.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated computer skills with query tools, web-based applications,
and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated skill creating reports with Crystal Reports or similar
Demonstrated skill developing complex Excel spreadsheets and/or
Masters degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, IT
or similar field.
Experience developing, administering and analyzing surveys
Project management and/or quality experience.
Experience leading and/or participating on Lean-related events
Experience writing SQL queries
License/Certifications For positions in PM & I only: Certification by the Healthcare Quality Certification
Board (HQCB), a part of the National Association for Health Quality (NAHQ), as
a Professional in Healthcare Quality required within six months of hire.
