Job Description

The Office Services Coordinator is responsible for the shipping, receiving and sorting of all company related mail and packages. Other duties include preparing all out going parcels and mail, ordering and restocking the organizations office supplies cabinets, break rooms, and forms cabinets, printing copy jobs, and assisting in the store as needed. Prior experience in mid-sized mailroom/ copy center (office equipment usage) preferred. One to three years prior experience is preferred in the following areas: shipping, receiving and inventory procedures; postal regulations and reference sources; operating postal equipment such as scales and related machinery; using personal computers and online systems to access and verify data. Must possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions; recognize errors and check with appropriate source for clarification of problems; communicate effectively with staff, students and the public as necessary; perform routine arithmetic computations frequently; organize and prioritize multiple tasks; maintain patience, use mature judgment and be courteous to customers; take charge and show ownership of assigned tasks. Operates personal computer utilizing spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Operates postal processing equipment. Operates and maintains copier/printing machines throughout building. Ability to safely use box cutter. Ability to use carts to distribute material throughout building.
