The RN Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all patients throughout the hospital on assigned tour of duty. Is the designated on site house Supervisor after normal business hours. Responsible for all nursing activities within the hospital in the absence of the Nurse Manager and Administrator of Patient Care Services. Provides clinical and administrative assistance to assigned staff as necessary. Maintains open communication with all staff. Participates in the staffing decisions made in the patient care areas. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures as well as making suggestions for revision of the same. Participates in Performance improvement. Minimum Qualifications: Current RN licensure plus clinical nursing experience to include charge, management or supervisory experience. BN preferred.
