Bigfork Valley is a health care campus set in the lakes and pines country of northern Minnesota. Ranked at or near the top in the state in hospital patient satisfaction scores, Bigfork Valley includes a 20 bed critical access hospital, active surgery center, retail pharmacy, rehab services, imaging, laboratory and medical support departments. An outreach Bigfork Valley clinic serves the Balsam rural community, and there is a medical clinic onsite. Bigfork Valley also has a continuum of senior living options including independent and assisted living apartments, twin homes designed for 50+, adult day stay, home care, and an elder-centered nursing home and memory care center. On campus child care and fitness center support the community and staff.

Bigfork Valley lies on the Big Fork River in a four season recreational area. Nearby are the Chippewa National Forest and Scenic State Park as well as public accesses to many area lakes. The city of Bigfork has small town services as well as a K-12 school (ISD318) and a 280 seat performing arts theatre and gallery. Bigfork lies near the Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway and also is served by a municipal airport and snowmobile trails. The area hosts a number of events throughout the year including a rodeo, Wilderness Day and half marathon/10K event.
