Respite Bed Care

Respite care refers to short-term care paid for by private individuals in the hospital setting provided to those persons who are cared for primarily in their own home, or are awaiting nursing home placement. Services range from board and care to skilled nursing care.

Swing Bed Care

Swing bed care provides a skilled level of care to those patients who cannot return to their own home following an acute hospital stay. Many times this is due to a continued need for skilled nursing care, physical, occupational or speech therapy, or skilled management of a continuing illness.
