Northfield Hospital, its affiliated clinics and its attached long-term care center are owned by the City of Northfield and serve more than 100,000 area residents who live in Rice, Dakota, Scott and Goodhue counties. Northfield Hospital has been serving the Northfield community since 1910. It moved to a new facility in 2003 and is currently the anchor of a new integrated health campus, which includes primary care clinics, including a Women's Health Center, and accommodations for visiting specialists. Northfield Hospital has developed a regional network of FamilyHealth Medical Clinics , now open in Northfield, Lonsdale, Farmington, Lakeville and Elko and is rapidly establishing itself as a regional medical destination.
