The Registered Nurse is a professional who:
Functions as Charge of Facility
Builds and maintains close relationships with residents/patients and their families to assist those who live or recover at Perham Living to live the life they choose while receiving the care they need.
Manages the health and wellness of residents/patients and their specific chronic conditions in order for residents to enjoy life to the fullest.
Manages the episodic illness care of residents/patients to the fullest extent of scope of practice through timely assessments, usable plans of care, evidence-based nursing interventions, entering and carrying out physician and nursing orders, and appropriate and timely documentation.
Initiates, supervises, and evaluates restorative nursing programs for those residents/patients with functional limitations that could achieve independence in some/all ADLs and ensure accurate coding of self-performance and levels of assistance by NA/Rs on POC.
Directly oversees care provided by other skill levels, coaches and mentors other staff.
Must be an RN currently licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota. Must also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with residents and their families, physicians, peers, and other health care professionals, and be proficient in the use of electronic medical records systems.
Work Schedule Information: This is a 60 hour per bi-weekly pay period positions; evening shifts and every other weekend. This is a benefit eligible position.
