RadiologyA Life-Changing CareerResponsibilities:
Produces high quality images that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Department. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Practices safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. Fosters teamwork through effective communication. Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.Qualifications:
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
ARRT certified in Radiography or registry eligible. ARRT certification required within 90 days after start of employment. Annual documentation of ARRT certification required.
Radiographer experience preferred.
Advanced certification and documentation may be required.
Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
Ability to work independently.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.License or Certification:
All incumbents are required to obtain advanced modality specific certification within 18 months of employment. CPR certification required.Benefit Eligible:
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $29.08 per hour.Hours/Pay Period:
