Responsible for providing efficient & effective guidance & broad supervision staff in the Environmental Services Department.
Assists manager to coordinate functions, activities & schedules, solve procedural problems & required to make independent decisions concerning emergency situations.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, knowledge of work schedules, training employees; planning, assigning & directing work; inspecting areas for cleanliness, addressing complaints & resolving problems.
Carries out lead responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies & applicable laws.
Assumes the duties of the Housekeeping Supervisor in his or her absence.
Holiday schedule depends on the need of the department at time of holiday.
3:00-11:30 p.m. during the week and 7 a.m.-3:30 every other weekend
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent education required
Some college preferred but not required.
At least 2 years of general environmental services experience
2 years of supervision and/or an acceptable equivalent combination of experiences
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications preferred
