Job Description

Essential Duties: Supports the mission of Tri-County Health Care through: Personal conduct including demonstrated concern for the people served and co-workers. Contribution of ideas and suggestions, helpfulness and friendliness Adherence to TCHC rules, policies and general expectations Role model for Excellence Quist/Studer Principles Direct OB/GYN care within the outpatient clinic providing a full spectrum of OB/GYN practice in a rural setting. Participate in the OB/GYN call rotation, in that role you will provide the following: Provide pre-natal, delivery and post-partum care Participate in OB/GYN call coverage for unassigned patients or patients who present for care and their assigned physician is unavailable. Has privileges in standard OB/GYN and surgical GYN procedures Complete charting in electronic format and required paperwork within required time parameters Participate with the care coordinators and care coordination activities including Health Care Home Back-up assigned clinic “buddy” during his/her absence from the clinic to include responding to patient phone calls, in-basket messages, My Chart questions, pharmacy/refill requests, etc. Timely response to his/her own patient phone calls, in-basket messages, My Chart requests, Pharmacy/refill requests and other patient needs/requests Participate in Medical Staff Committee assignments and other administrative duties as assigned Participate in mandatory CME activities (CALS, NRP, STABLE, EPIC, etc) Support TCHC recruitment activities and provide preceptorship for medical students and other professional students as assigned. Supports the mission of TCHC and related healthcare organizations through personal conduct and behaviors that contribute ideas and suggestions, is helpful and friendly, demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality, and adheres to organizational policies and rules. Qualifications

Maintain unrestricted license Maintain DEA certification without restriction Annual NRP Annual CALS Graduate of Accredited Medical School with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), 4 year OB/GYN Residency, Board Certification in OB/GYN or Board Eligible, Unrestricted License, Current DEA certification without restriction, NRP, CALS.
