Completion of an accredited associate, baccalaureate or masters degree program in Nursing. BSN or MSN preferred.
Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
Current BLS for healthcare providers certification is required
One year of recent Mental Health Nursing preferred
Knowledge of current nursing practices and techniques. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary treatment team. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, family member and co-workers.
Candidates with small/rural ed experience or ICU/Med Surg/Tele experience should apply to the RN ED Fellowship program.
PLEASE NOTE: New grad RN's are not considered for positions in the ED outside of the ED Residency program in the Spring.
