Job Description

The Interpreter Scheduler/Staffer coordinates interpreter scheduling and staffing for all sites where Regions Hospital interpreters provide service. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High school Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Four (4) years clerical experience or scheduling and staffing experience. Significant experience working in a multicultural/ multilingual setting.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to learn and leverage new systems quickly to improve operations.
Knowledge of modern office procedures, practices and equipment.
Ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively by both orally and in writing across multiple departments, sites, and communication styles.
Establish and maintain effective respectful working relationships with internal customers, agency partners, and department staff.
Ability to work calmly and independently in a fast paced environment, adapt quickly to changing situations, and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Accepts responsibility and accountability for his/her actions, decisions and professionalism.
