Job Description:
Regions Hospital Cancer Care Center is seeking a Genetic Counselor to work in a fast paced, compassionate environment.

This position will provide a process for assessment of individuals and families at risk for genetic-related cancers and to provide education for families regarding transmission, prevention and screening based on the age-specific needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric population served.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate from a specialized Masters degree program in medical genetics

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics

Licensed as a Genetic Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of experience in cancer genetics counseling.
