Job Description

The Mental Health Practitioner position for Safe House is responsible for maintaining the safety and welfare of program clients, providing daily rehabilitation interventions, participating in clinical supervision and meeting all annual training requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Minimum Associate's degree with 6000 hours

Experience: 6000 hours supervised experience with Serious and Persistent Mentally Ill. (SPMI) Adults

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Pass Certified Medication Administration (training provided)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good written and oral communication skills

Good problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently, initiate and problem-solve work independently

Able to work alone, initiate and problem-solve work independently

Able to work around others

Able to work collaboratively

Good time management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors Degree in an affiliated field or higher

Experience: 2000 hours verifiable supervised experience with Serious and Persistent Mentally Ill. (SPMI) for Bachelors Degree
