As a Needs Assessment Counselor, you will:
Triage crisis phone calls
Assess and consult with the on-call physician to determine correct level of care
Coordinate admissions and make appropriate referrals for outpatient services when needed
Provide effective customer relations pursuant to the policies of PrairieCare
Provide back-up for therapists and perform other clinical duties as needed
Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field strongly preferred
Two years of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred
Oriented and educated in gender, culture, and age appropriate mental health care
Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clinical directors
Computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
Reliable transportation and telephone
