The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) in the Hospital Medicine department provides medical care for patients in a variety of inpatient settings throughout Regions Hospital. The APC is responsible for the entirety of patient care, including obtaining patient history, conducting physical exams, and order and interpreting labs and imaging. APCs will use strong communication skills to coordinate care within an inter-disciplinary team, as well as creating a meaningful connection with patients and their family members.

Regions Hospital is a private, nonprofit teaching hospital providing healthcare services in St. Paul and its surrounding communities, as well as for patients throughout Minnesota, western Wisconsin and other Midwestern states. Regions Hospital provides outstanding care in neuroscience, heart surgery, cardiology, oncology, emergency care, burn care, orthopedic care, mental illness and more.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.

1-3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

Current registration to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota and current national certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota and current Nurse Practitioner certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in hospital-based medicine
