Join our leadership team as the Nurse Manager in the Pre-Post-Surgical Care and Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Regions Hospital is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center and performs over 13,000 surgical procedures a year. This leadership role oversees 75+ staff with multiple direct reports.. The department includes 22 PACU bays, 21 pre-post rooms, 9 holding rooms and 8 Extended Stay rooms.

The Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Nursing for Surgical Services and closely partners with all Regions Surgical Services Managers and supervisors for Operating Room & Anesthesia. The department consists of a blend of both veteran and new staff. A collaborative leadership style and ability to build positive relationship with surgeons and anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents and fellows is important and required of this role.

Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or AD in Nursing and Baccalaureate degree in a related field

Masters degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Education, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Life Sciences (e.g. Chemistry), or Business OR currently enrolled in a Masters degree program with an established date of completion
Four (4) years perioperative / post-operative nursing experience with two (2) years in a nursing leadership position (e.g. Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Team Leader)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Minnesota
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:
ACLS certification within 6 months of employment
