Ridgeview Medical Center
This position is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and maintenance of durable medical equipment and supplies. This position is also the first point of contact for assigned areas for any supply and/or inventory issues or questions.
Maintains warehouse stock, assuring proper storage of equipment and supplies.
Maintains equipment repair log.
Cleans, sanitizes, bags and tags equipment for storage.
Creates and maintains inventory lists and ensures supplies are kept at appropriate levels.
Performs routine equipment maintenance.
Assists with shipping and receiving, distribution and shipment of DME or supplies.
Assists in identifying work flow related efficiencies for maintaining inventoried supplies.
Assists in repairs or returns of supplies and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience/License/Certifications
High school diploma, equivalent, or working towards either
Strong customer service experience
16-years of age or older
Knowledge of durable medical products, equipment and services
Ability to make simple mathematical calculations, including the use of a calculator
Ability to work independently
Ability to relate easily and well with others, projecting a positive and mature attitude to customers
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
Previous durable medical equipment experience
Previous experience in healthcare supply chain
