The primary emphasis of this position is to provide administrative support to the nursing division, nursing administrative staff, and back up support to the Executive Assistant. The Senior Administrative Assistant must be a positive, enthusiastic ambassador of CRMC at all times and must continually strive to provide a professional environment for all customers while supporting the Hospital Nursing Services Department as well as the administrative team.
Education and Experience:
Vocational education, or two years of college required. Previous administrative assistant experience required. Successful completion of data entry, and general clerical standards administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, and Windows environment.

Provide administrative support to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Coordinate and maintain schedule and calendar.
Organize, procure, and maintain inventory of office supplies for nursing administration.
Collects, sorts and distributes departmental mail and faxes.
Attends meetings and records, types, and distributes the minutes of the meetings as directed.
Types and/or transcribes various correspondence, memos, reports, agendas, minutes, calendars, policies/procedures, etc. and distributes appropriately including retrieval and distribution of faxes.
General clerical support such as filing, copying, communication and word processing.
Answer incoming telephone lines for Hospital Nursing Admin office/CNO and administration.
Schedules reservations for meeting rooms; makes arrangements for catering, room set-up and audio/visual equipment as necessary.
Development and oversight of policy and procedures program - Policy Medical.
Supports Joint Commission compliance for CRMC.
Maintains administrative contracts.
Acts as reception for administrative offices.
Provides for back-up of all executive assistant duties.
